The main operational requirement is to clear the runways from unexploded cluster munition in a safe and effective manner. For this purpose, MineWolf Systems developed two new attachments in accordance with the customer requirements. Both attachments are interchangeable in line with the MineWolf concept of multi-purpose platforms.

The operations are controlled from the command station inside the fully equipped operator cabin which is another new development from MineWolf Systems. The vital role the remote controlled platforms play with regard to operator safety is further enhanced using the operator cabin and we envisage that the operator cabin could be useful for other remote controlled operations, beyond runway clearance. The scope of supply further includes the heavy duty robotic arm attachment for clearing explosive items like improvised explosive devices (IEDs) with its selection of front end tools. We have also supplied the forklift attachment for dealing with vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIEDs).

With the successful fielding of the new attachments, MineWolf Systems is adding the "Runway clearance solution" to its proven capabilities, and further enhancing its multi-purpose approach.
