The event was officially opened by Alain Servaes, CEO of Army Recognition Group, Official News Online and Web TV for Eurosatory 2024, who set the stage for a day filled with cutting-edge demonstrations and insightful presentations. His introduction highlighted the significance of Eurosatory as a central hub for defense technology and innovation.

One of the major highlights was the unveiling of a new generation of Main Battle Tanks featuring the Ascalon 120mm main gun. This new model promises enhanced firepower and improved combat capabilities. Not to be outdone, the European Main Battle Tank (EMBT) was also showcased, equipped with an even more powerful Ascalon 140mm main gun, marking a significant leap in tank technology.

The exhibition featured various helicopters and combat vehicles, demonstrating the versatility and advancements in modern military hardware. Avon Protection presented its comprehensive range of gas masks and protection systems designed for military and security forces, emphasizing the importance of soldier safety and preparedness.

KNDS displayed the latest generation of the CAESAR 155mm self-propelled howitzer in an 8x8 configuration, offering enhanced mobility and firepower. Additionally, the KNDS Griffon 6x6 armored vehicle was showcased in its Forward Observation Vehicle (FOV) variant, highlighting its role in modern reconnaissance missions.

The French Army's new main battle tank, the Leclerc XLR, was another key attraction, demonstrating the latest upgrades and capabilities tailored for future combat scenarios. Attendees also had the opportunity to discover the latest variant in the renowned Leopard 2 tank family, the Leopard 2A8, which continues to set the standard in armored warfare.

Hanwha Aerospace from South Korea drew significant attention with its Chunmoo rocket/missile launcher vehicle, reflecting the growing importance of versatile and powerful artillery systems in modern military strategies.

Rounding out the day's highlights, the German company Rheinmetall unveiled its new KF51-U Main Battle Tank, a formidable addition to its lineup that promises to redefine battlefield dominance.
