At the
International Defence Exhibition of Abu Dhabi IDEX 2011, the French
Defence company ACMAT presents a new version of its light wheeled vehicle
ALTV. To meet the needs for the new missions of the military units deployed
in the world, ACMAT developed and designed a new version, the ALTV Check-Point,
which makes it possible to have a protected vehicle which can ensure
control and safety missions of military installation, by guaranteeing
a protection for the crew and the soldiers inside the vehicle. Today
against the new threats of the battle field, it is not possible any
more to use not armoured vehicles, during control and surveillance missions.

is mounted at the top of the rear armoured container. The
turret can be armed with 12.7 mm or 7.62 mm machine gun, and
40 mm grenades launcher.
