During the 28 and the 29 May 2005, were held the open days of the Dutch Army. During two days, most of the vehicles and equipment of the ground force of Dutch Army are show to the public. From the 17 to the 27 mai 2005, the French army have make a big military exercise to civilian aera in East of France, code name FAT EXTEL and AETIUS 2005. More than 10.000 soldiers, 500 armoured vehicles and 40 helicopters will be deployed on a working area covering ten departments and delimited by a line connecting the city of Nancy, Saverne, Mulhouse, Vesoul, Caumont et Toul. These exercises, which join together elements of the seven brigades of the Ground force and the two brigades of Logistic Force. They have been the first big military exercises of this width for ten years.
