Digital technologies dominate discussions at Army-2018 Innovation Club


Artificial brain and digital technologies dominate discussions at the Army-2018 Innovation Club, said the Russian Defense Minister General Sergei Shoigu. Well-known public figures, military experts, chief designers and leading scientists will attend 151 events organized under the forum’s scientific and business programs.

"By tradition, the Innovation Club interactive floor promises to be interesting and enthralling. Artificial brain and spheres of its application as well as digital technologies will be the main themes this time," Shoigu said.

"I have no doubt that the Russian Army Tomorrow cluster of advanced arms and weapons and an exhibition of weapons and military hardware that have been seized from terrorists in Syria will arouse great interest," the defense minister went on to say.

He added that the National Security Week pioneer project would be launched at the Army-2018 Forum with an aim to raise the efficiency of interaction among state-run bodies and organizations in the field of security.

"Two special pavilions have been equipped at Patriot Park in pursuit of that goal. A unique exposition on this theme has been gathered and conditions for conducting a constructive dialogue have been created for experts," Shoigu stressed.
