The AT4 is an unguided, man-portable, single-shot, disposable, recoilless smoothbore anti-tank weapon characterized by ease of use and handling. The weapon is built by the Swedish Saab Bofors Dynamics. It was developed in different variants including AT4 HEAT, AT4-CS, AT4-CS AST, AT4-CS ER, AT4-CS HE, AT4-CS HP, and the AT4-CS RS. The AT4 offers great flexibility and is not limited to combating tanks and heavy combat vehicles. The AT4 is equally effective against threats in buildings and fortifications. I

The AT4CS is a model that fires the same warhead as the original AT4 but uses a counter shot launch method allowing it to be fired from "Confined Spaces" as CS denotes.

The AT4CS HP is the anti-tank version in the AT4CS which is disposable and preloaded with a specially developed High Penetration (HP) warhead. This provides the soldier with a weapon capable of defeating armor thicknesses exceeding 500mm, which is more than enough to defeat most types of armored targets on the urban battlefield. It weighs less than 8 kg and has an effective range from 20 to 300m.
