According to the Portfolio website, the new armored vehicle Gidran is based on the Ejder Yalcin 4x4 armored vehicle and will be produced in Hungary. It is planned to deliver 300 armored vehicles to the Hungarian army.

In 2018, Hungary has launched a procurement for the acquisition of a new 4x4 armored vehicle for the army. and the first batch of 10 vehicles was bought by the Turkish company Nurol Makina. The 10 vehicles were configured according to the requirements of the Hungarian armed forces and called Gidran.

Hungary will also produce locally, the NMS 4x4 armored vehicle another product also developed and designed by the Turkish company Nurol Makina.

The Ejder Yalcin is a wheeled tactical armored combat vehicle designed and manufactured by the Turkish company Nurol Makina. The Ejder Yalçin was unveiled at IDEF 2013, a Turkish defense exhibition that took place in May 2013. The production began in 2014.

The vehicle can carry a total of 12 military personnel including the driver and commander. The hull of the Edjder Yalcin is of all-welded steel armor construction that provides ballistic protection against the firing of small arms and shell splinters.

The NMS is a 4x4 armored vehicle based on a V-shaped monocoque hull offering more protection against the directed blast from a landmine or Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The vehicle is built using a modular design allowing the integration of different turrets, weapons, sensors, or communications systems on the same carriage.

The design of the NMS is standard for a modern 4x4 armored vehicle with the engine at the front, crew in the middle, and troop's compartment at the rear. The vehicle has a crew of two including driver and commander and can accommodate up to five soldiers
