Procurement and price information center of the Royal Thai Navy Announced the purchase of 6 multi-purpose armored vehicles (4 x 4 type) armored vehicles by the Department of Naval Transport for the Marine Corps command unit.

Set date for the middle price (reference price) June 16, 2020 (2020) in the amount of 99,900,000 baht ($ 3,210,155) per unit price 16,600,000 baht ($ 535,026) source medium price (reference price). There are three companies consisting of Chaiseri metal and rubber Co. Ltd., Thailand, Panus Assembly Co Ltd., Thailand and Nant Trade Co., Ltd. Thailand. Both Chaiseri and Panus have sent their armored vehicle products to the Marine Corps Command for evaluation over many times. And has been used in the field, for example at the southern border area.

It is understood that Chaiseri is likely to offer its First Win II armored vehicle, while Panus should offer AMV-420P Mosquito. Nant Trade Co., Ltd. Thailand does not know yet what armored vehicles are being offered for the project of the Thai Navy.

It can be seen that the First Win II meets the requirements of the Navy more than the larger AMV-420P and the price is more expensive. If Chaiseri wins the contract, it would be its second success after the purchase of two light armored vehicles by the Royal Thai Air Force.
