This activity is part of the Training Phase of Small Unit (FIPU) that the professional troop soldiers carried out in the Chacabuco property of the Peldehue Military Field, Metropolitan Region. Piranha derivatives have been manufactured under license by General Dynamics (Canada), BAE Systems Land Systems (UK), Cardoen and FAMAE (Chile), and in the USA. The Chilean army has got 250 Piraña I 6×6 and 25 Piraña I 8×8 in its inventory.
