US company Rezvani unveils Vengeance bulletproof SUV project

U.S. manufacturer Rezvani, based in Costa Mesa, California, designs futuristic military-looking vehicles, the latest one being called Vengeance. 22-inch wheels come standard, fitted with 35-inch off-road tires. Armored versions of the Vengeance offer optional extras such as bulletproof glass, underside explosive protection, military run-flat tires, thermal night vision cameras, and electrified door handles, to name a few, Gabriel Vega reports in duPont Registry.

A supercharged V8 under the Vengeance’s hood delivers a 690 hp and 673 foot-pound output. A naturally aspirated V8 and turbodiesel V6 will join the lineup in the future, although Rezvani has yet to announce their power and torque figures, Gabriel Vega writes.

The Vengeance offers three rows of seats with comfortable seating for seven, although Rezvani claims it can carry up to eight passengers. The futuristic vehicle features a curved OLED digital dashboard complete with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Rezvani sells its first 7-seater SUV at a starting price of $249,000.

The company also proposes 6x6 "Hercules" vehicles, with the same kind of futuristic look, available in standard or military edition.
