Eurosatory 2018: Visit AM General to see its new light tactical vehicle


At Eurosatory 2018, the International Land and Airland Defense & Security exhibition that will take place in Paris (France) from the 11 to 15 June 2018, American Company AM General will unveil the Evolutionary Next Generation Light Tactical Vehicle based on the proven HMMWV (Humvee). American Company AM General to unveil its new Light Tactical Vehicle at Eurosatory 2018, the International Land and Airland Defence and Security Exhibition in Paris, France.


The American Company AM General LLC has a strong legacy of designing, manufacturing and supporting iconic, high-quality military, commercial and consumer vehicles, an experience born from our ability to respond to customer needs in a world of constant technological innovation.

The defense business of AM General is expanding with increased international sales of HMMWVs and the need to modernize and maintain several hundred thousand HMMWVs still employed by the U.S. armed forces and by more than 70 countries from all over the world.

AM General continues to develop and design new generation of military vehicles with the goal to response to the new threats in terms of mobility and survivability and the needs of modern armed forces. With its new light tactical vehicle, AM General has designed a new vehicle offering greater survivability against ballistic threats with protection on 360° against firing of small arms 7.62mm caliber. The vehicle was also designed to provide high level of protection against mines and IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) blast.

The new AM General has been also improved in term of Off-Road mobility, payload capacity and has been equipped with additional feature to enhance stopping capability.
