Part of the Avnon Group, Beesense’s EO systems provide actionable ISR solutions for military, homeland security and civil applications. Their unique nature lies in the combination of radar and EO sensors integrated with advanced communications and AI/machine learning data analytics capabilities for precise target acquisition and threat analysis. The much-anticipated merger will expand Beesense’s portfolio, enabling it to provide end-to-end solutions for maritime and aerial surveillance applications.

The OTUS series of advanced gyro-stabilised EO micro-gimbals is widely used in small and medium-sized UGVs, UAS and manned aircraft. Among the smallest, lightest units available, they provide functionality and performance normally found only in significantly larger devices. The unique four-axis maxi-gimbal system is one of the best available, suitable for the most challenging high-vibration manned and unmanned air and ground platforms, including helicopters and USVs.

The two companies share over 50 years’ experience in market-leading developmentsand engineering knowledge. The merger will combine Beesense technology with the renowned gyro-stabilisation components of DST’s systems, enabling leading-edge systems developments and elevating Beesense system performance. DST will also expand Beesense global development centres, serving to increase its worldwide presence and opening new markets.

“The merger of DST is another step in the strategic plan of Beesense to strengthen its footprint in the intelligent imaging and sensing systems markets,” said Baruch Dilion, CEO. “DST technology will enable us to make our advanced electro-optics technology accessible to the aerial and maritime surveillance markets and to multiply the technological solutions currently offered to the company’s customers in the fields of defence and HLS.”
