Russian airborne troops are ready to use electronic warfare EW vehicles Infauna and Leer-2. | |||
The
last days of September 2012, electronic warfare "EW" units and
airborne troops of the Russian army have conducted military training exercises
to practice new methods and techniques of electronic warfare in real combat
conditions with new EW wheeled armoured vehicles Infauna K1SH1 UNSh-12
and Tigr-M MKTK REI PP Leer-2. |

The new multirole Infauna electronic warfare vehicle is able of jamming radio-controlled mines and improvised explosive devices. |

During
these military exercices, airborne troops tested the developement of a
new architecture of command for EW units that meet the modern requirements.

The Tigr-M MKTK REI PP with Leer-2 electronic warfare system is designed for developing radio emitters, jamming and suppressing radio-electronic means including cellular phone systems. |
