Armour Company of Ukraine Varta Novator 4x4 armoured successfully tested
According to pictures released on December 26, 2017, to the Facebook account of the Ukrainian government MVS.GOV.UA, Ukrainian Armour Company from Ukraine has performed successfully tested of its new Varta Novator, a 4x4 wheeled tactical vehicle that could be delivered to the Ukrainian National Guard.

According to Defence-Blog, the Varta Novator is a 4x4 light tactical vehicle based on a pickup model Ford F550 chassis. The vehicle seems to be protect with an armour to offer protection against firing of small arms and shell splinters.
The design of the vehicle is divided in three main parts with the engine at the front, crew and troop compartment in the middle and cargo area at the rear. It can accommodate five military personnel with two seats at the front and three at the rear.
The Varta Novator has a length of 5.80 m, a width of 2.405 m and a height of 2.164 m. It has a gross weight of 9,000 kg and a payload capacity of up to 1,000 kg. The vehicle is motorized with a 6,7l turbo diesel engine developing 300 hp. The Varta Novator can run at maximum road speed of 120 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 700 km.
