The Fallagh is a 4-ton ultra-light tracked vehicle able to run at maximum speed of 100 km in off-road condition, and 130 km on road with a maximum cruising range of 400 km. The vehicle can be used to perform reconnaissance and combat operations.

The vehicle is fitted with a remote weapon station mounted at the top front, just above the driver position which is armed with a Russian-made DShK 12.7 mm heavy machine gun.

According Iranian sources, the turret is stabilized and equipped with an automatic firing control system.

The Fallagh seems very similar to the US project of RIPSAW, an unmanned light tank designed by the Company Howe & Howe Technologies in 2001.

The Ripsaw MS1 tactical UGV utilizes a powerful oversized and customized 650-horsepower Duramax 6.6L V8 diesel engine that delivers 900 ft./lbs of torque. Factory horsepower for the engine is 375hp, so the Howe brothers have suped it up a good bit. The engine fits inside a 3×3-foot (3×3”) space in the chassis.

The Iranian commander said that the new achievements will be made available to Iran’s Defense Industry Organization for mass production.

In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in its defense sector and reached self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems.
