| Bridge Equipment |

The scissors type bridge is transported and launched over the rear of the three axle trailer by remote control with the trailer being provided with an Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) to power the launching system. Before laying the bridge hydraulically operated stabilizers are lowered to the ground to provide a more stable launch platform. When opened out the scissors type bridge is 23 m long which allows it to span gaps of up to 21 m which depends on the conditions of the bank. The bridge takes about 10 minutes to lay in position and can take tracked vehicles weighing up to 63.5 tons or wheeled vehicles up to 99.7 tons. Every span is filled between girders so bridge has road surface along the whole usable width. Filling between girders makes possible crossing by wheeled vehicles of less wheel track vehicles and troops as well.

| Design and protection |

The MS-20 heavy launcher mobile assault bridge vehicle consists of the prime mover tractor (6 × 6) and a semi-trailer that carries the scissors type bridge and its associated launching system. The 6x6 truck is equipped at the front with a two doors crew cab which is fitted with the control systems to launch and recover the bridge. The Type 134WP crew cab is equipped with two seats including driver and one sleeper bunk. One single hatch is mounted at the top of the crew cab. The crew cabin is not protected.

| Truck and Trailer |

The bridge and launching systems are mounted on a three-axle semitrailer towed by the Polish Jelcz C662.D43-M Daglezja (6 × 6) tractor truck. The JELCZ C662D.43 truck is built on high-mobility, heavy-weights, all-wheel-drive, and 3-axle tractor version. Vehicle is adjusted to drive on and off roads. C662D.43 is assigned for tank semitrailer. The truck is motorized with an Iveco 430 kW diesel engine. It’s a Six cylinder four stroke turbo charged and intercooled diesel engine with electronically controlled fuel rate and injection timing. Engine is equipped with high-pressure injection system with injectors operated from the overhead camshaft. The truck uses a ZF 16S 221 gearbox couple to the engine with 16-speed range change. Except transporting function, the chassis is equipped to positioning and to removing the span from terrain obstacle.
Front drive axle - rigid beams of I -section with disk wheels, suspended on two half-elliptic springs with rocking levers, two telescopic shock absorbers, mechanical stabilizer located before front axle, with differential lock.
Rear drive axles - (tandem) with differential gear connected to the frame by reaction rods, suspended on two inverted half-elliptic leaf springs. The MS-20 Daglezja can run at a maximum speed of 85 km/h.

Standard equipment of the MS-20 Daglezja includes one spare wheel, heater and ventilation with multi speed fan. Driver and co-driver seats are equipped with automatic safety belts and headrest, with air springing system.
