A country that surprises most of the skilled observers visiting IndoDefence 2018 is Vietnam. Never before was the pavilion of this country so important.

Among the numerous products displayed by Vietnamese manufacturers, some are tedchnically well advanced, while other ones may leave observers puzzled, like a World War 2-era Lee Enfield Mk.V withh z different loader than the original one and presented as a sniper rifle. But drones, many weapons, equipment and various devices deserve a mention by the simple fact that they are openly marketed in a topclass exhibition like IndoDefence 2018.
