IndoDefence 2018: MWR unveils VTOL UAV


Among the ever growing number of drones unveiled or simply didplayed at defense exhibitions, Indonesian ones appear to cover most of the needs expressed by ground and naval forces. MWR showcased a few of them.

With a wingspan of 4 meters and a maximum payload of 10 kg for 40kg empty weight, this vertical takeoff and landing UAV is rather in the medium-high segment of this market. It can fly up to 4 hours and more than 100 km at a maximum speed of 140 km/h. The transition altitude is between 30 and 100 meters.The service ceiling is 5,000 meters.

MWR markets another UAV of half the size of the VTOL one, called Bhadrika RI-1,
