Vietnam receives Russian KZKT-7428 Rusich tank transporters
Vietnam has received a batch of Russian KZKT-7428 Rusich heavy tractors, according to the local media outlets.

"Moscow supplied to Hanoi KZKT-7428 8x8 wheeled heavy trucks. They are supposed to be used for transportation of T-90 main battle tanks (MBT)", Vietnamese media outlets said. It should be noted that Hanoi has not deployed T-90 or T-90S MBTs. Previously, Vietnam was reported to be willing to acquire 28 T-90MS tanks produced by the Uralvagonzavod (Russian acronym: UVZ) company.

KZKT-7428 was developed by Kurgan Wheeled Tractors Plant (Russian acronym: KZKT) in the 1980s. The tractor`s serial production commenced in 1990. KZKT was manufacturing four variants of KZKT-7428. The basic model (designated as KZKT-7428-011) had a full weight of 23.7 t and could transport a semi-trailer of 70 t weight. The tractor was powered by YaMZ-8401.10-14 diesel engine (650 h.p.). KZKT-7428-011 had a maximum road speed of 65 km/h and an operational range of 650 km.
