The system uses radio control frequency that disrupts a UAV’s operation from a hostile user’s remote control and its GPS signal. After taking control of the air vehicle, it lands it safely, thus not allowing it to pose a risk for military or civilian installations.

It is a point-and-shoot system, having the shape of a small rifle, weighing close to 7.5 kg. It is battery powered and can be operated for up to five hours continuously. It is a low-cost system, with a proven range of 400 metres. This technology is restricted to use by US Federal Authorities only.

The system will be displayed at the Sea Air Space 2016 show. Navy Recognition is the Online Show Daily and Web TV. Follow the daily news coverage by clicking at the following link: Sea-Air-Space 2016.
