The 9K113 Konkurs (NATO code AT-5 Spandrel) is Russian-made Semi-automatic command to line of sight (SACLOS) wire-guided anti-tank missile. The missile was designed and developed by the Russian Defense Company KBP (Konstruktorskoe Buro Priborostroeniya). The 9K113 Konkurs is designed to engage moving and stationary armoured targets provided with explosive reactive armour (ERA) protection. The Konkurs system can be carried by tracked or wheeled armoured vehicle. The 9K113 was introduced in the Russian army in 1977. The missile was seen for the first time during a military parade in Moscow, mounted on a BRDM-2 4x4 armoured vehicle. |
