The Oshkosh M-ATV Utility Variant is a family range of M-ATV vehicle based on a multiple configuration platform. The M-ATV Utility Variant meets the same key performance points as the standard M-ATV. It incorporates patented components and systems for maximum Warfighter mobility and survivability, including the TAK-4® independent suspension system and advanced armor solutions. Warfighters in the midst of battle need equipment and supplies. Even in the most treacherous terrain, the Oshkosh® M-ATV Utility Variant has the durability and mobility to get them there. With a cargo bed expanded to 6 x 8 feet, it has the capacity to carry whatever it needs to. And with multiple configuration options, including shelter provisions and covered cargo transportation, it can be customized to meet specific mission needs. Its wheel travel, payload capacity, side slope stability, vehicle durability and 70% off-road/30% on-road duty profile assure supplies will get to Warfighters – even in the heat of battle.

Armament |
The Oshkosh M-ATV Uitility Variant can be fitted with a one man turret, armed with a 7,62 mm or 12,7 mm machine gun. The armored glass turret is mounted at the front, to the roof of the vehicle.

Protection |
The Oshksoh M-ATV Utility Variant uses the same V-shaped Plasan armored hull as for the basic version of the M-ATV, which offers a protection for the occupants against IED (Improvised Explosive Devices) attacks.

Propulsion |
The Oshkosh M-ATV Utility Variant is powered by a Caterpillar C7, 370 hp coupled to an Allison 3500 SP transmission and an Transfer Case Marmon Herrington. It's 4x4 chassis vehicle. The Oshkosh M-ATV Utility Variant incorporates rugged, durable, patented components and systems for maximum Warfighter mobility and survivability. Derived from the Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) platform, the M-ATV Utility Variant incorporates the proprietary TAK-4® independent suspension system with battle-tested technology. It has the wheel travel, payload capacity, side slope stability, vehicle durability, extreme mobility and necessary Warfighter protection for today’s fight. In today’s most challenging battle zones, the M-ATV Utility Variant is the combat-tested, mobile, survivable, durable solution – to get Warfighters to the fight and back again. The only solution is the Oshkosh® M-ATV. The vehicle can also take a 7.62 mm round to it's engine oil/coolant/hydraulic system and continue to drive for at least one kilometer.

Accessories |
The Oshkosh M-ATV Utility Variant are equipped with centrally inflated run-flat tires allow the M-ATV Utility Variant to travel at least 30 miles at 30mph even if two tires lose pressure. The M-ATV Utility Variant Oshkosh also features modern vehicle safety systems such as Traction control and anti-lock brakes in addition to modern creature comforts such as an HVAC system and power outlets for charging personal portable electronic devices such as iPods and MP3 players. The Oshkosh Utility Variant has a useful load capacity of 2.313 kg.
