The RG33 6x6 SOCOM AUV (Armored Utility Variant is a mine-resistant light armored vehicle designed and manufactured by BAE Systems Land Systems in United States. The RG-33 SOCOM AUV variant was based on the RG-33 6x6, with features designed to meet the requirements of US Special Operations Command. The BAE Systems RG-33 Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Armored Utility Variant (AUV) MRAP is a modified Commercial Off-The-Shelf vehicle designed from the ground up to reduce casualties and increase survivability for personnel subjected to mine explosions, improvised explosive device (IED) detonations and small arms fire. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
