The Pilica command post uses a 4x4 military truck chassis Jelcz 442.32 motorized with MTU 6R106TD21 Euro III diesel engine coupled to 9-speed manual gear box. The truck can run at a maximum speed of 85 km/h.

The Pilica command post is connected by wireless newtwork or via optical fiber cable at a distance of up to 5 km to the SOLA multi-task three dimensional 3D radar and to a maximum of six ZUR-23-2SP anti-aircraft mobile gun and missile systems. It provides both capability to command and control the Sola radar and the six ZUR-23-2SP weapon systems.
