The M1025 Humvee (HMMWV) is a family of vehicles used as armament carrier. Upgrade variants include M1025A1 and M1025A2. As armament carrier, the M1025 can be fitted with a full range of weapons including machine guns and automatic grenade launcher. The M1025 has a empty weight of 2,359 kg with a maximum payload of around 1,000 kg. The M1025 is air transportable by C-130 or larger combat transports, droppable by parachute, and can be sling-loaded from helicopters.

- M1025A1: are fitted with revised front seats, grille and rifle mounts. - M1025A2: with improvements as the all Humvee A2 series including new 6.5l V8 diesel engine. The key additional features include improved steering wheel and column, new rear seats, increased cargo capacity, improved brake pedal and an improved 4,100 kg winch. - M1026 M-1026A1 - M1026A2 : Same as the M1025 but the front of the vehicle is equipped with a winch. |

Armament |
The M1025 / M1025A1 / M1025A2 is fitted with a ring mount mounted on the roof of the vehicle allows full traverse on 360°. This mount weapon system can be armed with a full range of weapons including M60 or M240 7.62mm machine gun, M2 .50-caliber 12.7mm machine gun, MK 19 40mm Grenade Launcher or anti-tank missile TOW launcher station.

Design and protection |
The M1025 / M1025A1 / M1025A2 layout is similar to all the range of Humvee family with four seats fully enclosed metal cabin with a vertical windshield at the front. The engine is located at the front of the vehicle and a cargo area is available at the rear of the crew compartment. The roof of the vehicle is fitted with a single hatch that open to the rear. The M1025 variants can be fitted with different types of add-on armor packages as part of near term armor programs, beginning in 2003 were designated with a "P1" after their respective model number.

Mobility |
The M1025 is motorized with a General Motors 6.2 liter turbo diesel engine developing 150 hp. at 3,600 rpm. The M1025 is fitted with double A-arm independent suspension front and rear, coil springs and hydraulic double-acting shock absorbers for high off-road mobility. The M1025A2 is motorized with a 6.5l V8 diesel engine. The vehicle can run at a maximum road speed of 105 km/h. It has a tank capacity of 94 liters with a maximum cruising range of 563 km. It can negotiate a slope of 60% (31°) and a side slope of 40 % (22°). The M1025 series is able to cross water obstacle of 76 cm depth without fording kit and 1.52 m with a kit.

Accessories |
The M1025 / M1025A1 / M1025A2 can be fitted with an optional central tire inflation system (CTIS). This enables the operator to adjust tire pressure from the driver's seat "on the move" to adapt to changing terrain conditions for greater off-road mobility. A wide range of optional equipment can be fitted on the vehicle to enhance the HMMWV capability including dual antenna mounts, countermine armor kit, spare tire, bulkhead spare tire kit, Jerry Can carrier and air conditioning.
