Design and protection |
The crew cabin of the Protector Riot Control Vehicle is positioned at the front of the vehicle, featuring two large doors on each side. A sizable windshield is present at the front of the crew cabin, and the windows offer protection equivalent to that of the vehicle body. Steel bars protect the windows, as well as the front and rear lights of the Predator water cannon vehicle, guarding against thrown objects. The vehicle is equipped with external crowd dispersal system features, enhancing protection for both the vehicle and its passengers. The Predator is a fully armored vehicle, offering armor options up to VPAM PM-7 (BR 6) with specific design elements to withstand external threats. The BR-6 armor provides protection against the firing of small arms with 7.62x51mm NATO caliber.

The Predator Riot Control Vehicle is designed to keep the operator protected from the riot environment, as it is controlled remotely from within the vehicle using a joystick. Standard equipment for the Predator includes a centralized automatic control system, an advanced monitoring and surveillance system, and a recording system. Optionally, the Predator riot control vehicle can be outfitted with features like an anti-climb vehicle body, safety locks, and vehicle protection elements such as CS Side Nozzles and Front Dozer. Each water cannon station is equipped with a searchlight featuring wire mesh protection, ensuring practical and accurate control during night operations. |
