Technical Data
Armament |
The roof of the vehicle can be fitted with a manual open-top turret protected with armored plates to provide protection against firing of small arms. This turret can be used by a sniper officer offering good visibility and to engage targets under armor protection.

Design and protection |
The Titan DS SWAT has been designed to provide protection from a variety of small arms, explosives and IED (Improvised Explosive Device) threats. The vehicle can also be used by Security or Police Teams with an eye towards possible hostage situations, or active shooter scenarios when law enforcement would be looking to extract wounded individuals. The hull of the vehicle provides ballistic protection of STANAG 4569 Level 2 against the firing of 7.62×39mm API BZ bullets at 30 meters, and the 7.62x39mm ammunition used by the Soviet-made AK-47 assault rifle, the most popular weapon of terrorist groups. The floor of the vehicle is based on a V-hull design to protect the occupants against blasts and shrapnels or from simultaneous detonations of 6 kg of TNT as well as hand grenades. Each side of the vehicle is equipped with two doors that can be used to quickly enter or leave the vehicle. There is a large windscreen at the front of the vehicle and four small bulletproof windows on each side of the troop’s compartment offering the same ballistic protection as for the hull. The rear part of the hull is equipped with two large doors that open outwards, each fitted with a small bulletproof window and a firing port. The vehicle can accommodate up to 10 police officers.
