The Zodiac Hurricane MACH II (Military Air Channeled Hull II) was created by Zodiac Milpro to offer a high speed fully versatile boat that is at ease in all activities and all sea conditions. The patented MACH hull design reduces resistance and enhances directional stability for increased speed, fuel economy and safety. When combined with either an inflatable or DuraRIB foam collar, these features provide the superior seaworthiness, shock mitigation, stability and maneuverability required to operate reliably and effectively in extreme conditions.
The exceptional speed and performance of the ZH 935 arises from Zodiac’s unique patented MACH II step hull design. The air channelled hull reduces water resistance while its deep V configuration combines with it to provide a low centre of gravity. These features result in increased speed and directional stability together with greater manoeuverability and improved fuel economy. The ZH 935 is currently used by the French Navy onboard L'Adroit OPV. It is launched and recovered by a stern ramp system. |
