AMZ-KUTNO Ltd. is a Polish defense company established in 1999, specializing in the design and manufacturing of special purpose combat vehicle conversions.

The TUR is a family of 4x4 armored vehicles designed by the Polish manufacturer AMZ-Kutno in 2007. The vehicle was developed to offer a new generation of 4x4 armored personnel carrier vehicles. The TUR was based on the prototype chassis of a commercial IVECO off-road vehicle.

With the TUR 7, the Polish company AMZ has developed a new version of the TUR vehicle based on a monocoque design with a body shell built up from armor plates, rather than attaching them to a frame. This reduces weight for a given amount of armor.

The TUR 7 is powered by 6 cylinders Diesel engine developing 285 hp coupled to a gearbox with 6 forward and one reverse gears. The vehicle has a Gross Vehicle weight of 12 tons.

The TUR 7 was presented at MSPO 2022 in ambulance configuration, with the engine compartment at the front, crew in the middle, and rear of the vehicle configured to carry wounded personnel.

The hull of the vehicle provides protection Level 1 STANAG 4569 against the firing of small arms 7.62mm caliber and mine protection Level 3A against mine explosion of 8 kg of TNT under the wheels and the center of the floor.
