new fifth-generation fighters aircraft T-50
will come into service in the Russian Air Force by 2015, said Monday,
February 13, 2012, the commander of the Air Force, General Alexander Zeline
in an interview RIA Novosti. |

"Currently,
three aircraft participate in test flights. Soon, three more aircraft
will participate. A total of 14 aircraft will be engaged in test flights,"
said the general.
The fifth generation fighter T-50 was developed in Russia since the 1990s. The new aircraft will be equipped with unique features. Invisible to enemy radar, it will feature a new onboard navigation and automatic defense systems. |
