The
heat in Langkawi went up a few searing notches as the Rafale
which is now in Langkawi for the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace
Exhibition (LIMA’13) took to the skies in preparation for the exhibition
which officially opens on Tuesday, 26 Mar 2013. The Rafale fighter aircraft
is scheduled to wow visitors with jaw-dropping aerial manoeuvres during
its daily demo flight. |

Rafale
International has a significant presence in the exhibition
in which a strong team is ready to demonstrate the capabilities of the
true multirole fighter aircraft, and to present Rafale’s cooperation
framework and the Rafale Network of Excellence in Malaysia. Rafale International stated, “An event such as LIMA is a good platform for Rafale International to showcase our technical capabilities, innovative development and meet like-minded experts. As a leader in the aerospace and defence industry, we are always ready to meet the level of needs of fighter aircraft for a country. We anticipate to receive quality trade visitors and believe it will be a successful exhibition for Rafale at LIMA’13.” The company which is joint-venture of companies comprising aerospace leaders Dassault Aviation, Snecma (Safran Group) and Thales have been active in collaborating with Malaysian partners. In line with its goal to create the Rafale Network of Excellence in Malaysia, several agreements and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) have been inked with local industry players, organisations and institutions. Rafale International does not only produce the most critical technologies, but also invests into human capital development in high value industries. The group looks forward to contributing towards Malaysia’s development targets and partner the country as it moves towards being a high-income nation.
