This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition and is 100 percent foreign military sales to multiple countries including Morocco (24), Egypt (220), Oman (12), Pakistan (76), Indonesia (10) and Portugal (30). Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity.

BAE Systems' electronics businesses provide flight and engine controls, electronic warfare and night vision systems, surveillance and reconnaissance sensors, secure networked communications equipment, and energy management systems.

The General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter aircraft originally developed by General Dynamics for the USAF. Over 4,500 F-16 aircraft have been built since production was approved in 1976. Although no longer being purchased by the U.S. Air Force, improved versions are still being built for export customers.
