Bell Helicopter showcases next generation commercial helicopters at Paris Air Show
 
Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company,is showcasing the Bell 429 WLG, 407 GXP, the 525 simulation cabin and V-22 model during the Paris Air Show on the Textron pavilion A2. Bell Helicopter has been delivering innovative, state-of-art helicopters to customers in Europe for over 50 years.

Due to the growing commercial successes in Europe with the Bell 407GXP, the 429, 505 and 525, Bell Helicopter is continuing to grow its footprint in the region with the first Bell Helicopter European training facility opening in Valencia, Spain in 2016. The facility will offer full-flight simulation training for the Bell 429. Bell Helicopter has also been investing in greater capabilities with the Bell European Customization & Delivery Center in Prague acquired in 2010 and has been implanted in Amsterdam with its Supply Center for the past 40 years.

Derived from the Bell 407GX platform, the Bell 407GXP has an additional 50 lbs (22.5 kg) of payload capability, coupled with the new M250 Rolls-Royce engine that improves performance and fuel efficiency delivering class leading hot and high performance. The aircraft is also equipped with new avionics features such as a hover performance calculator improvement, as well as a transmission TBO extension of +500 hours that will lower maintenance costs.

The Bell 429 WLG is the only light twin-engine helicopter on the market with true two-litter capability with enough cabin space for two medical attendants and two crew members.
