Lockheed Martin wins a $302 mn contract for Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles

Lockheed Martin will produce, update, sustain, manage and integrate the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile for Poland and Finland under a $302.2 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force, the US Department of Defense (DoD) announced on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015. Lockheed will perform work in Alabama in support of the foreign military sale deal, the US DoD added.

The contract runs through June 29, 2019. Poland selected Lockheed Martin's JASSM on September 2015 for its F-16 fleet. Poland becam the third international customer for JASSM, after Finland and Australia air forces chose it in 2011 and 2006.
