The
Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) has prepared the participation of the Polish
industry and has filed an application with the Armaments Inspectorate
for admission to the procedure for delivery of short-range and mini unmanned

PGZ will propose the high-tech product called E-310 developed by PIT-Radwar
and Eurotech, a Polish company. PGZ experts underline that the proposed
set is comprehensive and constitutes a whole, which means that it is a
unique solution based on the potential of the Polish industry only.
In the “mini” category, the Army intends to procure 15 sets under codename “Wizjer”, including logistics and training systems as well. In this case PGZ, using the experience and potential of Wojskowe Zaklady Lotnicze no. 2 in Bydgoszcz, is planning to participate in the tendering procedure, creating expertise regarding the development of a technology corresponding to the “mini” class within the Group beforehand. “As the leader of the Polish armaments industry, we have resources and expertise to take part in the procedures for unmanned aircraft systems based on domestic technologies and those procured from abroad. We cooperate in this regard both within PGZ itself with WZL no. 2, PIT-Radwar, PCO, and with the Air Force Institute of Technology,” said President of the Management Board of PGZ, Wojciech Dabrowski. The participation
of PGZ in the construction of unmanned systems is supposed to be broader
and not to be limited only to the needs of the Polish Army specified
today. PGZ experts emphasise that the Group intends to develop the technology
and manufacturing of any types of unmanned platforms. |
