Of the combined total 3,100 exhibitors expected — 1,100 at Dubai and 2,000 at ADIPEC — 355-plus of them, more than 11%, are headquartered in the United States. In fact, the U.S. is the largest international exhibitor in the region, and more than 200 of those American enterprises, 56%, are exhibiting in U.S. International Pavilions organized by Kallman Worldwide, Inc.
The U.S. Department of Commerce ranks the U.A.E. as the ninth largest market for U.S. aerospace exports, and the seventh for oil and gas equipment. Kallman has been involved with the Dubai Airshow for the past 20 years, and has organized the U.S. International Pavilion at ADIPEC since 2006. The firm coordinates with a number of U.S. government agencies, notably the U.S. Commercial Service in country, to maximize America’s presence at each event. At the biennial Dubai Airshow, U.S. space managed by Kallman has more than doubled from just over 1,000 sqm in 2013 to 2,200 sqm (gross) in 2015. The national Pavilion hosts some 95 exhibitors, including six states — Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Virginia, New Hampshire and Washington — and their 32 state-affiliated exhibitors. |
