US Air Force deploys three B-2 Spirit strategic bombers to Andersen AFB | |||
Three B-2 heavy strategic bombers and approximately 225 Airmen from USAF Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, deployed to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Aug. 7 to conduct familiarization training activities in the Pacific region, the US Air Force Global Strike Command announced on August 8.

This training deployment demonstrates continuing U.S. commitment to regular, global strategic bomber operations throughout the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
The US Air Force Global Strike Command continues to routinely deploy bombers to Andersen, providing commanders from Pacific Air Forces and U.S. Pacific Command a global strike capability and extended deterrence against potential adversaries. |
