Elbit Systems has delivered an interconnected multi-cockpit mission training center to a customer in Latin America. The center, built according to the latest simulation requirements and training concepts, provides complex tactical training to fighter pilots, ground controllers and operators of a wide variety of aircraft systems, participating simultaneously in an advanced simulation arena, along with dozens of friendly and enemy Computer Generated Forces (CGFs).

The center has the ability to train the pilots in real mission oriented scenarios and replace expensive actual flight hours. The customer can use the training center for basic and emergency training up to advanced mission oriented training with up to 24 trainees training a “real” mission together.

The training center includes a turnkey solution and will be operated with Elbit Systems’ personnel together with the customer operational staff.

The center, constructed in Latin America, has been tailor-made according to customer specifications. The software's open-architecture enables the End User to add future upgrades as avionics systems evolve while its robust cockpit Roll-In-Roll-Out (RIRO) design allows comfortable future platform expansion.

The features of the Mission Training Center simulator are based on Elbit Systems’ SkyBreaker, a market-leading training solution” said Elbit Systems Aerospace Division's General Manager, Yoram Shmuely. "By implementing our SkyBreaker proven, cutting- edge technologies and ‘train as you fight’ concept in the Mission Training Center, we enable pilots to conduct realistic, up-to-date training exercises, bringing them to the forefront of flight simulation".
