With more than 50 years of experience providing weapon systems and services to many Air Forces all over the world, the EXPAL portfolio of aerial munitions supports the compatibility of our weapons with Precision Guidance Systems available in the market.

With this contribution, EXPAL enlarges its trajectory of supporting weapon integration within aerial platforms, an added value that reinforces its vast portfolio of ammunition.

Airbus Defence and Space and EXPAL Systems have previously cooperated in the integration of guided weapon systems on the Eurofighter aircraft.

Airbus is already working with the US-based Orbital ATK to convert a Royal Jordanian Air Force C295 airlifter into a gunship configuration. According to Airbus, this C295 is to be armed with AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, a side-mounted M230 30 mm chain gun from Orbital ATK and 70 mm guided rockets.
