"The work will be performed in McKinney, Texas; and Forest, Mississippi, and is expected to be completed by October 2018. This contract will be funded via delivery/task orders, and depending on the requirement may be funded using research, development, test and evaluation; procurement; and operation and maintenance funding. The ordering period is valid for one year," the US DoD said.
"U.S. Special Operations Command, Tampa, Florida, is the contracting activity," the US DoD added. As a common system, Silent Knight can eventually be fielded on MH-60M, MC-130H, and CV-22 block 30 aircraft. |
