Earlier, the confirmed pressure altitude for taking-off and landing of Ansat constituted not more than 1000 meters.

We transfer all the data based on the results of the tests to Rosaviatsia for further introduction of changes in the certificate. Rugged mountain terrain is the condition, where helicopter operations are of highest demand, that is why it is very important for our customers that the helicopter is ready for such missions”, noted Andrey Boginskiy, Director General of Russian Helicopters Holding Company.

Ansat is a light twin-engine utility helicopter powered by two engines, depending on modification it can accommodate up to nine people. To date, the maximum take-off weight of the helicopter has been increased up to 3.6 tons, the payload is 1.3 ton, the cruise speed is up to 260 km/h, the maximum speed is 275 km/h, full-tanks range is 520 km. Ansat is certified for operations in the temperature range from -45 to +50°C.
