2) MiG-41 project to be completed in 2019
Russia is already preparing to develop another interceptor, the PAK DP, also known as the MiG-41. The new aircraft has been considered for a few years, but recently MiG CEO Ilya Tarasenko has revealed that the project is due to be completed by 2019.

According to Russian state-owned Rostec's head, Sergey Chemezov, Russia is ready to cooperate to sell Turkey Su-57 fighter jets, if Turkey's participation in the US F-35 jet programme fell through.

5) India orders first batch of own missiles for Su-30MKI
The Indian Air Force ordered a development batch of guided air-to-air Astra missiles of the Indian design for multirole Su-30MKI fighter jets, a representative of Bharat Dynamics Company told TASS at Army-2019 forum.

6) Russia offered to manufacture MiG-35 multirole fighter jet jointly with India
Russia has offered to manufacture MiG-35 4++ generation multirole fighter jointly with India along with Transfer of Technology, Ilya Tarasenko, CEO, MiG Corporation of Russia said on May 27.

7) Sukhoi and Bruk agree on joint design
The Sukhoi Company and the Bruk designer of Russian Elbrus microprocessors signed an agreement on joint designs, Sukhoi said.

8) Russian naval aviation to receive more Su-30SM and Ka-27M helicopters in 2019
The naval aviation of the Russian Navy will continue to receive multirole Su-30SM fighter jets and Ka-27M helicopters in 2019 as part of a program to renovate its fleet of aircraft and helicopters, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

10) Aircraft carrier-based LCA Tejas-N program may be aborted
In the coming months, the Indian Ministry of Defence (MoD) will be evaluating whether it should, or shouldn't, continue to invest in the development programme of the aircraft carrier-based variant of the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, which is dubbed Tejas-N (for Naval).
