The simulator was produced by M.A.K. Company. After the qualification tests, KVZ will be licensed by Rosaviatsia to operate the simulator. The mathematical model of the simulator was designed by KVZ on the basis of helicopter flight trials. The simulator has a visualization system and provides a full visualization of the areas of Sochi and Kazan.

“Ansat is becoming popular in the market. It is necessary to train customers to operate the helicopter. The simulator will ensure quality retraining of the personnel,” KVZ Managing Director Yuri Pustovgarov said. KVZ also operates Mi-8MTV simulator. It imitates night flights with night vision goggles. The simulator imitates vibration and sounds depending on the flight regime. KVZ created the training center in 1995. It trained nearly 9000 specialists in over 20 years.

The Kazan Ansat is a Russian light, multipurpose helicopter manufactured by Kazan Helicopters. The Kazan Ansat helicopter was designed in the 1990s in order to replace the aging fleet of Mil Mi-2 light multirole helicopters. The Ansat light multipurpose helicopter is designed to carry personnel (up to 10 people), transport cargo and equipment inside its cargo compartment (up to 1,000 kg) or on external sling (up to 1,300 kg), as well as perform special tasks in the interests of different customers.

The maximum takeoff weight of the helicopter is 3,300 kg, practical flight range - at least 500 km, cruising speed - 250 km/h, service ceiling – 5,500 m, hovering ceiling – 3,200 m, flight endurance - at least 3 hours.
