Second C-130J Super Hercules aircraft arrived in Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) received the second of five Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules it purchased from the UK Royal Air Force (RAF).

The Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft. The C-130J is a comprehensive update of the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, with new engines, flight deck, and other systems.

The UK MoD has been wanting to sell up to 10 of the C130J Mk 5 transporters in preparation of the gradual induction of the A400M aircraft which have a higher payload carrying capacity.
