The repair work was carried out by the Novosibirsk Aircraft Repair Plant (NARZ) of the Russian Helicopters holding under the direct control of the Mil and Kamov NCV, a developer of Mi helicopters. As a result of the maintenance carried out, the Peruvian helicopters have an overhaul life of eight years and an overhaul life of 2000 hours.
Currently, especially against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, the Republic of Peru is actively exploiting the previously supplied Russian helicopter technology. Then, as a humanitarian aid, we handed over to Peru medical-grade Mi-8 helicopters. Today, more than a hundred Russian-made helicopters are in operation in the country, so we attach particular importance to their repair and modernization. The design and equipment of the Mi-8/17 family helicopters allow them to be operated autonomously on unequipped sites in almost all climatic conditions, including in high mountain regions and areas with hot climates, which is proved by many years of experience in using these machines on different continents.
The Novosibirsk Aircraft Repair Plant carries out maintenance, overhaul and modernization of various modifications of Mi helicopters. The company carries out repairs of systems and assemblies of helicopter technology during the entire overhaul life, and also provides users with spare parts. NARP also provides services around the world with the ability to carry out refurbishment works at the customer's base.
