TD220 Unmanned Helicopter is a Chinese UAV developed by Zhong Hang - Zhi (ZHZ) Science and Technology Ltd. The indigenously developed coaxial rotors has only half as many components as that of Kamov coaxial rotors, thanks to the replacement of many mechanical parts with electrical components. TD220 only needs a space of 5 m x 5 m to take-off or land.
The TD220 is a VTOL UAS capable of performing a wide range of missions, such as powerline, forestry and oil-pump monitoring and aerial mapping. Fitted with 50 kg of surveillance payload, the TD220 has an endurance of 5h. The TD220 has a cruise speed of about 100 km/h and a ceiling of 4,000m.
As you can see, the UAV has known some evolutions since 2015 where we saw it at Dubai Airshow. We can assume that some characterestics of the UAV have also changed and now have better performances than six years ago (Picture source: Air Recognition)
