Royal Saudi Air Force to participate in "Aerial Warfare and Missile Defense Centre 2022" drill, which will be held at Al-Thafrah Air Base in the UAE with the participation of several brotherly and friendly countries.

The participating group, upon leaving the King Abdulaziz Airbase at the Eastern Sector, was seen off by Commander of Royal Saudi Air Force General Prince Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz.
Prince Turki reviewed participating equipment and checked on the preparedness of the human personnel and their preparations.
He also urged all participants to exert efforts and fully benefit from this exercise in a way that achieves benefits for them while carrying out their combat duties, stressing keenness on safe implementation.
This month-long exercise, will kick off by the end of the week, aims to train in air combat operations in an alliance of international forces and to take advantage of the application of the concept of joint action in a war environment similar to real war. It also aims to exchange military expertise in planning and implementation with the participating brotherly and friendly countries and raising the readiness and combat efficiency of supporting air and technical crews, as well as strengthening international relations between the participating countries.
The exercise will see the participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the USA, the UK, Greece, Oman, France, Germany, India and Australia.
