The eBee VISION systems delivered to the French Army include unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) along with ground control systems, communication and antenna packages, and tactical backpack units to facilitate field deployment. This initial delivery is part of a larger order that will also include a complete spare parts package. The total value of the order is estimated at $3.4 million.

The eBee VISION is recognized as the lightest and most affordable fixed-wing UAS for military, public safety, and first responders, designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. It is equipped with dual cameras (daylight and night vision) and can detect a vehicle from a distance of 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) without being seen. The operational range of the UAV varies from 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) with the included short-range antenna to 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) with optional long-range antennas. Weighing just 1.6 kilograms (3.5 pounds), the eBee VISION is easily transportable, can be hand-launched, and offers up to 1.5 hours of flight endurance. The system is also designed for rapid deployment, being ready to fly in under three minutes.

The eBee VISION UAV system includes various features tailored for efficient and secure operations. It is equipped with a stabilized payload capable of detecting, tracking, and geo-locating objects in various conditions, including both day and night. The UAV also supports high-resolution, long-range video imagery and offers cyber-secure operations, compliant with U.S. NDAA requirements. The system includes components such as smart batteries, chargers, and a robust radio link operating in the 2.4 GHz ISM band, providing up to 90 minutes of flight time and a maximum flight distance of 60 kilometers (37 miles) per battery charge.

In addition to the UAV itself, the Ground Control Station (GCS) is designed for rugged environments, offering various connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G/LTE. It is equipped with a 7-inch screen, multiple connectivity ports, and provides up to 4 hours of operation time with warm-swap battery capability. The GCS software includes mission planning functionalities, different flight modes, and allows seamless control of the UAV’s operations.

Bill Irby, President of AgEagle, emphasized the importance of this delivery in the company's defense market growth strategy. He highlighted that AgEagle's rapidly deployable unmanned vehicle products continue to provide crucial intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance support to military operations. Irby also expressed optimism about the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its support for allied and U.S. military customers as part of a long-term strategy to enhance shareholder value.
