China’s new J-35A and Russian Su-57 stealth fighters could take center stage at Zhuhai Air Show 2024.
As reported by Global Intelligence on October 27, 2024, a rumored list for the 2024 Zhuhai Airshow highlights several significant features. Notably, it suggests that four stealth fighters (the Chinese J-20, J-35A, and the Russian Su-57 and Su-57E) might make an appearance. Both aircraft could potentially participate in flight demonstrations, though a mockup of the Su-57E may be presented instead of the operational version.

AVIC (Aviation Industry Corporation of China) will present the H135, described as an unmanned verification platform for hybrid aviation power systems. Beijing Jing Hang Power Science & Technology Co., Ltd. will showcase the Pilatus PC-12, while Huayi Xiangfei Aviation Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. is set to exhibit the Latou-24 aircraft. These displays represent a portion of the manned aviation platforms at the event.
Wuhan Tianhe Beidou Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. will contribute to the exhibition with its NF Explorer aircraft, while Baiyan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. will feature the Falcon-1800DH. Another key participant, Chongqing General Aviation Industry Group, will display the W5000 unmanned cargo aircraft from Air White Whale, alongside an aviation hybrid power drone, focusing on technologies utilizing hybrid systems. Xi’an Shaanxi Aviation Science and Technology Co., Ltd. will introduce its T580 model. Additional participants include Zongshen Aviation Power, which will present the CA22 and BAI-D1 aircraft.
The exhibition will also feature several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), with companies showcasing various systems. Sichuan Xinwan Tianyu Innovation Company will display the MN-218 and LXH-200 UAVs. Among the more notable exhibits is the Twintailed Scorpion D, available in both double-engine and quad-engine configurations. Other UAVs, such as the Featherless Arrow and the Tendgen large-scale double-engine logistics UAV, will illustrate developments in unmanned aviation.
International participation is represented by Russia's Rosoboronexport (JSC) and Russian Helicopters. These companies will bring military aircraft such as the Su-57/Su-57E stealth fighter, the Su-35, and the Su-30. Russian Helicopters will display the Ka-32 helicopter, while additional models like the Il-76 transport aircraft will further contribute to the global aspect of the event.
The People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) will feature prominently with a large selection of aircraft. In addition to military aircraft, China's aviation sector will be represented by several civilian and commercial models. COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China) will present multiple aircraft, including the ARJ21 COMAC converted freighter and the ARJ21 medical services jet. Other commercial aircraft such as the C919, P600X, and P600U will be part of the lineup, demonstrating China's growing presence in commercial aviation.
Other new aviation platforms will also be introduced at the exhibition, including the AG600 large amphibious aircraft and the H400 logistics aircraft. These new models indicate developments in both civilian and military sectors, providing platforms aimed at varied operational needs.
