The WIND DEMON, developed by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), is an important step in air-to-surface missile arsenals. Designed to provide an affordable and accurate solution, this long-range cruise missile can strike targets over 200 kilometers away, combining efficiency and cost management.

Launched from an airborne platform such as a helicopter, the WIND DEMON follows a predefined mission plan to engage both mobile and stationary targets. Its ability to fly at extremely low altitudes reduces the risk of detection, disruption, and interception, thus enhancing its operational effectiveness.

Operators can choose from various speed profiles—fast/slow/fast—tailored to specific tactical requirements, allowing for rapid response or discreet approach as dictated by the terrain. This flexibility ensures tactical surprise and enhances the missile’s evasion capabilities.

The WIND DEMON is equipped with technical specifications that guarantee exceptional performance on the battlefield. Additionally, it is equipped with a Man-in-the-Loop control system that allows human supervision during critical mission phases.
